THE MAGNOLIA DIFFERENCE

Our students look forward to Magnolia mornings.

That's not a metaphor. It's what happens when you build a school that takes academic rigor seriously and makes sure every child genuinely loves being there. We don't believe those goals are in tension. At Magnolia, they're the same goal.

Real relationships drive real learning

Handshake_Icons.png

Our teachers are never too busy to help, to listen, or to simply pause for a conversation. Student know their educators are invested in them. That trust is what makes academic achievement possible.

Your child is never just a grade level

We assess every student individually and teach to their actual proficiency - not their age. Your 2nd grader might be reading at a 4th grade level. We meet them there.

Childhood is not a phase to rush through

Three daily recess blocks, limited homework, and a schedule built around how children's brains actually develop - not how a textbook says they should. Excellence and joy are not in conflict.

Math

Number sense, operations, patterns, measurement, and early geometry - built through hands-on discovery and real-world applications. Math is taught as a language of patterns, not a series of steps.

Science & Social Studies

Hands-on exploration of the natural world, community, and early history. Children observe, question, and discover - building scientific habits of mind and an understanding of citizenship alongside early academic content.

Independence & Responsibility

From cleaning up after play to participating in group activities, we guide children to own their routines from day one. Self-sufficiency, pride in their work, and the joy of "I did it!" are part of every afternoon.

Magnolia graduates enter middle school different.
  • Academically: reading and math at or above grade level - often years ahead

  • Emotionally: self-regulation and ownership of their learning journey

  • Socially: peer relationships, conflict resolution, genuine empathy

  • Intellectually: still curious - kids who love learning after 6 years of school
